REST DAY


WOD: REST DAY


Admittedly I am being a bit selfish. I got beat up pretty good at our rugby match yesterday so I desperately need a rest day. But I am sure we ALL need rest day...


I know many of us think "more is better" when it comes to training but this is not the case. I have talked about over-training and I will mention it again. Our bodies endure all kinds of stress every single day - mental, physical, emotional, chemical - and sometimes the last thing we need is a grueling WOD. That doesnt mean sit on the couch and eat potato chips... continue to nourish your body, eat clean, drink plenty of water and get your REST.


Enjoy this Sunday and enjoy your rest... but dont be lazy! At the very least, pick up that book you have been attempting to read for months now but never get around to it and knock out the first 100 pages. Do some research. Surf the Internet and find out something you never knew. Keep your mind active.


I will be doing that in the rain at the NY GIANTS FOOTBALL GAME TODAY!!! LETS GO BIG BLUE!!!

    Sorry to hear about the injuries, had an awesome time at the Saturday session in Cranford. For rest I will be going to the SANDS casino in PA with the one and only Joey P.
