Summer is over... what does that mean to us?

WOD:
GET OUTSIDE AND DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING!!!
- No prescribed workout other than to do an activity outside. I dont care what it is, but get outside and enjoy yourself! Get in your garden, go running, just lay on a blanket in the park reading a book... whatever you want. I am going for a hike with Melissa... hunting for the Jersey Blair Witch... muahahahah

Summer ending is a big deal in the fitness world. I contest that at the conclusion of summer, people naturally fall off the wagon because - simply put - they no longer have to worry about wearing skimpy clothes on the beach or to pool parties. Cooler weather means hiding those extra pounds with sweaters and jackets, and in turn abandoning our previously determined goals. The dedication seems to disappear, the work ethic becomes less and less, and before you know it, its Christmas time and we are in that "bad" place... you know the place, where we despise getting out of the shower and looking in the mirror or we lay in bed and grab our stomachs and think "where did this come from??"
Then spring will come upon us and we will all act suprised. "OMG its almost Easter! I have to put a bathing suit on in like a month?!?!!? I need to get my butt back in the gym!" I do it, you do it, we all do it... so foolish we are.
This year I am tired of doing that. I am dedicating myself to HARD WORK and INTENSITY 12 months out of the year. I am actually dreading winter this year because I know I am going to look great and I dont want to have to hide myself under big bulky clothing. I want everyone to feel that way. Believe me, it makes life SO much easier...
Lets not take time off. Lets not scramble in the spring to try and get fit again. Lets work throughout the year and look INCREDIBLE in all temperatures!!
Now get out there today because this weather is too perfect to be inside... see you guys tomrrow!
